The animation was unique and the story definitely for teenagers, Mutant Mayhem was a great entry for TMNT. Nothing compares to the live action of the early 90s.
TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was a thrilling and innovative addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. With its unique animation style and captivating storyline, this film was clearly targeted towards a teenage audience.
The film is executive produced by Canadian Seth Rogen and co-wrote with Evan Golberg. Seth adds the recorded voice of Bebop with director Jeff Rowe. It's an ensemble cast including Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Maya Rudolph, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Distributed by Paramount they have already announced development on a sequel and a Paramount Plus TV spinoff, making Mutant Mayhem already a winning franchise.
While nothing can quite compare to the beloved live-action adaptations of the early 90s, Mutant Mayhem brought a fresh and exciting twist to the turtles' adventures. I can confidently say that this film was a standout entry in the TMNT series, offering fans a thrilling and action-packed experience that they won't soon forget.
Overall we recommend seeing this in the theaters. 4 Stars.
