The latest installment of the Transformers franchise, Rise of the Beasts, has hit theaters and it does not disappoint.
The film takes us back in time to 1994 Brooklyn, where we meet new characters and witness the arrival of the Maximals and Predacons. The action is non-stop and the visual effects are stunning, making for an incredibly immersive experience. The highlight was Mirage, played by Pete Davidson - his one liner was so inappropriate for a PG-13 movie but lots of people laughed.
The blend of old and new characters is seamless, with familiar faces such as Optimus Prime and Bumblebee returning alongside new additions like Airazor and Rhinox. While the plot may be a bit convoluted at times (spanning multiple continents), the excitement and nostalgia factor more than make up for it. Seeing Unicron on screen for the first time since the 1980's motion picture cartoon was awesome.
Overall, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is a must-see for fans of the franchise and action movie enthusiasts alike will appreciate the addition.
